Initial Verification Course
Expand your inspection and testing skills
Designed to serve as a follow-up to our fundamental inspection and testing course, our initial verification course provides a more extensive, advanced level of knowledge for those looking to become qualified electrical inspectors.
We deliver this 18th Edition course in association with both City & Guilds and EAL:
This qualification is commonly known as City & Guilds 2391-50 (Initial Verification of Electrical Installations), but we also offer this programme through other awarding organisations like EAL - in which case it’s called the EAL Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification & Certification of Electrical Installations. If you have a preference, please specify this when you speak to us.
Electrical Inspector Course: Who Should Enrol?
If you’re looking to finalise and practise your inspection and testing skills - or seeking a way to develop more basic inspection and testing skills - then our initial verification course will take your career as a professional electrician to the next level.
Previous knowledge of electrical inspection and testing is recommended - we suggest completing our Fundamental Inspection & Testing course before enrolling on this programme.
What Qualification Will I Receive?
Level 3 Award in Initial Verification of Electrical Installations
- This qualification is commonly known as City & Guilds 2391-50, but we also offer this programme through other awarding organisations like EAL. If you have a preference, please specify this when you speak to us.
- Once you’ve completed our Initial Verification course, you may wish to move on to the Periodic Inspection & Testing. Note that our Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection & Testing programmes can be completed together as a single qualification - but achieving the two qualifications separately will look better on your CV!
